Daktar Sahib

Another family function in the 'bay area' hanging with cousins and old friends. Too many people address me as daktar sahib! And they take great pains in introducing me to other 'daktars' who might be present ' eh vee daktar ney'! I am never sure how to react in those situations-one day I am gonna start looking for engineers and lawyers-god knows there is no shortage of them at Indian functions-and introduce them too each other-'lao jee, eh vee vakeel ney-maro takkran!
